Health Drives
We are very happy to offer Tailor-made strategies for organisations wishing to target specific health improvements across a workforce.
This is achieved through assessing the workforce demographic and then establishing clinical priorities, targets for improvements and a timescale
Introduction
The process is typically started with an introductory presentation to all participants. We have found these sessions extremely effective in introducing the service, building interest and indeed generating that all important enthusiasm!
Health Checks - The "MOT"
We  then conduct a comprehensive set of base level health checks for all participants. Such checks are ultimately flexible depending on the organisation but could include (amongst others): Blood Pressure, Cholesterol , Weight / BMI, Urine analysis ,Fit Test ,Strength test ,Smoking cessation ,Spirometry
Getting Started - Exercise Time!
A chartered physiotherapist with a particular interest in sport and physical training will then devise a bespoke training regime for an individual over a set period of time. Every one receives an individual, well balanced programme with specific attention paid to their age, sex, level of fitness and goals.
Judgement Day
After a given period we reassess the objective measures established in the Health Check. Companies have evoked a spirit of "healthy competition" between departments and given out prizes for biggest improvements etc
Challenges
To foster this healthy mind frame we can assist companies with implementing some of our fun HiB challenges. These include "Climb Everest on a stepper" "Swim the Channel - without leaving the pool" plus many more
As each of these sessions are completely unique, the above represents merely a framework. Please feel free to contact Physiotherapy Manager Jon Dance for a free, no obligation discussion and quote
