Introducing HiB Physiotherapy
What is Physiotherapy?
Physiotherapy is a health care profession concerned with human function, movement and maximising potential. It uses physical approaches to promote, maintain and restore physical, psychological and social well-being, taking account of variations in health status.
Physiotherapy is science-based, committed to extending, applying, evaluating and reviewing the evidence that underpins and informs its practice and delivery.
The exercise of clinical judgement and informed interpretation is at its core.
Who are HiB Physiotherapy?
HiB Chartered Physiotherapists combine their knowledge, skills and approach to improve a broad range of physical problems associated with different 'systems' of the body. We specialise in the treatment of the neuro-musculoskeletal system (soft tissues, joints, bones and nervous system).
What do HiB physiotherapists do?
We offer expert treatment to a wide variety of patients from all walks of life. On a day to day basis we help people with musculoskeletal problems from sports injuries, occupational injuries, degenerative conditions, slips / trips and falls and RTA’s to name but a few.
Our qualifications and experience
All physiotherapists have at least 8 years post qualification experience and are registered with the regulatory body for physiotherapists: The Health Profession Council (HPC). The HPC is an independent, UK-wide health regulator for thirteen different health professions.
All HIB physiotherapists are fully chartered as members of the Chartered Society Of Physiotherapy. This means that:
-
Our qualifications as experts are properly recognised
-
We are governed by professional codes of conduct
-
We are covered by professional liability insurance
We have extensive experience in occupational health and work related disorders. We are highly adept at the management of clients within this occasionally complex area. We facilitate our clients management process with a comprehensive and concise reporting and liaison service.
We supplement this expertise with a broad base of knowledge, gained from years in the NHS, public and private sector as well as elite professional sport.
