Meeting Legislation Policy Development and Procedure

Health in Business has many years experience in developing policies and procedures for organisations across the North West.

Health in Business can work with your organisation to develop a range of health and safety policies designed to support an effective Occupational Health program, including

  • Stress
  • Sickness Absence and Attendance Management
  • Drug and Alcohol

Each policy should reflect the special needs of your workplace and should be regularly reviewed and updated, communicated throughout the organisation and applied uniformally.

Health in Business will ensure that your policies are effective by:

  • involving senior management and representatives in the preparation of the policy
  • by being seen as consistent with the workplace's objectives of operating in an efficient and predictable manner
  • by being relevant to workplace's real needs, not adopted from another workplace, and
  • by being accepted as equal in importance to the workplace's other policy objectives
