As experts in the field of occupational physiotherapy we look at the wider picture of health care in the work place. We know that it is necessary to thoroughly address the various contributing factors to a musculoskeletal injury and not just treat the symptoms in a clinic. In essence we adopt a pro-active rather than reactive philosophy to health care.
In addition to our physiotherapy service we are alo very happy to offer the follwing:
Ergonomic Evaluation and Assessment:

  • Ergonomic Assessment and Task Analysis: Comprehensive and exhaustive Ergonomic review of a specific process in the workplace. This service is utilised to maximise efficiency of operation, streamline production, eliminate operator hazard / movement dysfunction and reduce risk of injury / musculoskeletal disorder

DSE / VDU Assessment and Analysis

  • DSE (Display Screen Equipment) and Work-Station Analysis: Comprehensive assessment of DSE and Work Space. On site modifications and corrections performed. Detailed recommendations provided in full report for each client. Available on an individual basis or as part of a half or full day session. Highly recommended for symptomatic clients.
Manual Handling Services:

  • Manual Handling Training: Classroom based Training session encompassing all elements of manual handling including theoretical and practical aspects. The sessions are individually tailored to the specific organisation and are available in hourly, ninety minutes, half day and full day sessions. Problem areas and movement dysfunctions are identified and witnessed at first hand and where possible immediately corrected and modifications recommended.
